Nice. I can't see anything majorly wrong, perhaps there are a few things, but I don't know anatomy. I would suggest that you try and indicate just what the surface he is on is made of. I just find it a bit disorienting that I can't figure out what Spidey is doing. Also the web is a little bit thin.
Hope that helps. |

may have been the way u have intended.. but the eyes look kinda week.. maybe enlarging them would help.. coz thats the popular rendition method of spidey eyes..
other wise kool. everything else seems to work.. drawing ability is pretty much ovious in ur work.. keep it up |

RaykastCS, thanks very much...I need to get things down a little more cleanly before I CG...I hope to do that sometime soon.
Thanks Ian, you bet, it always helps! Actually, if there is some anatomical thing that you see, lay it me! I am always working on anatomy, and I am no expert, so don't be shy. I will be pencilling up the BG and surface before I so anything else, so stay tuned
pappuftp, thank you kindly, I agree on the eyes and will make some changes. I appreciate the C&C and thanks again! |

Really great drawing, and a great pose. Also great work on the hands and feet... The only issue I see, is that he looks a bit female.... His pecs look a little more like breasts and his head seems a little small and feminine. Everything else is perfect. |

Thanks, Stauminator *gak* boobs! yes, I'll fix that...the beefyness of his pecks are a little too much for the rest of his muscalature, I'll fix that. I appreciate the C&C! |

It's looking better! XD
Not only his chest and head look a little feminine, but his pose also. To me at least.
I can't tell what kind of view that is but if that is a verticle building wall that he he is sticking onto, then his weight should be shifted to show that there is gravity, with his body being pulled down, and his arm showing the force of his body wieght. He looks kind of weightless.
On the other hand, if he is just leaning back on level ground, then everything is fine. ^^
Maybe you should change the direction that his web is shooting to be aligned with his arm? I don't know. It looks good! XD I have to see it finished! ^^ |

hope u don't mind but this has been bugging me and i've got to say sommat
its SPIDER'MAN' your drawing right?
i thought you might have corrected this by now but u haven't i've taken ur image (sorry if this offends you) and put in red the changes i think need to be made to him to make him a 'man' if u study the human form, especially on a muscular man you'll see that the pectorials don't sag like they do in your image when under strain the muscle actually stretches when moved up and back like on ur pic
image taken down cos its not needed no more
hope this helps you with your image, if not tell me where to go

Bob, thank you very much for the red line, and, no, your draw-over does not offend me at all. In fact it provides me with a great deal of help and I appreciate that. My muscalature, is apparently, a bit too "smooth" I suppose one would say...and yes of course I am trying to draw Spider Man. Thank you for chiming in |

I think your lines are great, so smooth and... perfect.
I do agree on the eyes and the muscles... he looks very boyish. Though in the movie he quite young... but he's looking 12 here. Others have already posted all this though, so.. yeah
Looks awesome. |

Your lines are nice! ^_^
EDIT: *Gasp* I just noticed something... (Probably already mentioned before.) His legs look funny. O.o Something about his kneecaps also...I dunno how to explain it. :\

Bob, thanks again for the props and the help...much appreciated
SG, thanks for the C&C...yes, when I finished the inking and backed up his right thigh in particular bugged me. There is something about the position, in relation to the buildings/something that throws things off...I am not sure what though. Ah, well, live and draw, you konw Regardless, thanks for the post.
Hi X-ecutioner,
Many thanks. His noggin' is a bit large, and I may tweak it in PS when I CG sometime this decade (hopefully)...anyway, I really appreciated your remarks and suggestions |

Awesome! I love that pose! The colors look good so far.
Is it my eyes, or does his right leg look a bit longer than the left one?
But that really is the only crit, that came to my mind... |

Wow, Bob! Thanks for the coloring, man! I really like the way you did Spidey...very classic! Mind if I put it up in my CG collaborations section on my site? Just let me know if its a problem
Hi Incubus...thanks for the C&C. yeah, there is something up with his right leg...I think the BG (or lack there of) is doinking things, but I am not sure. No sweat on thinking Bob was me, glad you did actually I hope I can do as nice a job as that whenever I get to CG'ing this! |

Have you ever tried to change the perspective of the BG a bit, so that Spidey hangs on a wall of some building, shooting downwards? Just thought, that this could work too, because his pose looks a bit more like hanging than crouching to me... |
