hey all,

This is a further edition of one of the sketches I posted up in the finished gallery. I looked at the sketch and found that it didn't really look like johnny depp, so I edited it around some more and and finally got it looking close. I used again the poster 'From Hell' as referance.

Then I followed Sijun's guide, making clear lines, then colouring, then dodging and burning, and a lot of bluring and smudging and this is whats it has become. I followed the same colouring as is in the poster.

Its not finished but its getting there. What I'm looking for is some serious C&C, not telling me that its nice. Pls, refer to the post on Critiques. This is my first try at colouring using a wacom, so I would really like to know, where I can improve, what I'm doing wrong. The works. Also the inner part of the nose, I know has to be coloured.

Well its 4 in the morning I should get to bed. From improving the sketch, to this has taken me about 3-4 hours probably longer, but time flies when your wacoming.

anyways.. .It does sorta look like johnny... but I think you need to studyt anatomy some more.. the face does have areas which are incorrect....
