I know that this is pretty bad. I don't put much effort into coloring or shading, I do this stuff for my own enjoyment. Any comments would be appretiated. By the way, I don't have a wacom yet... must get paid...

well the lighting looks good so far... But people tend to be a bit rough on newbies sometimes. There are other good forums to post newbie art to, sijun is for the gods (not claiming to be one myself, I just watch and drool here).
Your character seems to lack muscles altogether. Even skinny things should have a bit of muscle. You should work more on human anatomy, as it would help tremendously with other humanoid creatures as well. Just keep practicing and you'll do fine after some time. |

hi,
i wonder if you should try to work out the characters pose and finish the initial sketch before blocking out the colors.. or?
what about the right hand and the feet?
