Starting up a site or portfolio or whatever u call it ... ne ways playing around with images and stuff and my coloring / painting isnt really that great. Anyone have any tips? heres what ive been working on. It started off looking great ... until i started coloring ...

something also looks wrong with the tail i dunno how dragon tails look so C&C on that would be great thx in advance

Its only like 1/2 colored as u can see ... This is my first image i have actually tried to color well but isnt turning out too good .

looks pretty good to me, i can see your confusion on the tail... it has a fairly sharp angle... it works for me though. as for color it looks fine, id add some light colors though! its very dark as is. it would also help to establish a definate light source (sorry if you did and i failed to notice... its very late and my eyes are buggin). anyways, keep it up!

Thanks Mharett, yeah i need to fix the light source up. If i were to put a bg what should i make it? i was thinking of like a river of lava or somethign but i dunno no idea. As for the coloring, maybe i have been starring at it for way too long or something, it seems smudged to me alot or something in front how can i fix it up? any other advice about the coloring is should have before i give it another wack? thx again!

Ok i still wasnt satified with the heads so i remade them very close up. Hope you ilke the 2/3 i made so far third one is 40% complete. I also just got wc3 thats why i havent been working on them much ive been workingo n the third for like 2days now haha but i havent really worked on it that long (wc3 is a really addicting game) ...
