I hadn't had time to work on this scene for awhile, but I was inspired by the contest to revamp production on it. The scene is 2.5D, so it has limited 3d camera movement. The light on left is animated volumetric. There are two characters - one walking and one watching from the forground. Their animation is done, except for a closeup face shot of the walking character. Gonna try to knock this off in the next week or so. :]

And the full rez shot(this will be for TV res, so the biggy is just for fun) http://antsin3d.com/reeldev/orcforesttest-0069.jpg
You can see the characters on my site. Comments and Crits welcome!

I like it, what program do you use for the animation?

Thanks! I use Lightwave for the 3d portions. You can check out the character models here: http://antsin3d.com/tempcg/characters.html

OK, this is the first of three clips for this scene. It'll be followed by a closeup of the orc's face and then the exit clip. Note that you'll need DivX 5.02 to view this properly(otherwise you get a still image).

PS: Here's Divx. http://download.com.com/3000-2194-10112189.html?tag=lst-0-1

I still like it a lot Ant. Been so long since Ive seen the other I cant remember what's changed. I do like the fact it comes off almost like a very well done watercolor painting. Its reminiscent of Brian Froud and Alan Lee's stuff from "Fairies". Lots of deep boggy woods feel to it.

Good Stuff.
