Hello, I used to post here a year ago. Glad to see this place is alive and kicking. I need some help on where to go with this picture. Not sure what I should do. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Drag the link into the address bar and the picture will be displayed. Same trick works with geocities.
I like the picture! The little characters in the background look a bit odd though, dunno why. Maybe too detailed (edgy) for background stuff.
Here's what I'd do if I could draw as good as you : Since the weapon's not done yet, why not doing some 'imaginary' warfare... like trying to make the weapons look imaginary (like the wireframe-like look the pistols have right now) or make the characters use brooms or something... or even their fingers to imply guns, that'd be fun to do But I'm just a weird guy with strange ideas. I like craziness.
Good stuff!
PS.: uh, didn't notice the dead guy in the corner. good pose of the main character.

consider how people actually stand.. moreso consider how people look while doing an action such as this fellow. perhaps take a few reference shots of yourself with some toy guns.. you'll notice that your painting thus far is a bit stiff and inaccurate. Also, the straight on profile view is a bit boring. try for something a little more dynamic to convey a sense of movement. |

the guy smiles as he kills people?
thats... i dunno
unless he's a hero or main character, give him a mask or soemthing(ike the guy in background, ski-mask), and/or add more guys around him
plus, u may want to move the helicopter further back(further int he background) as it looks too close to the ground and wall, and a little less tilt
the poses,(other than the furthest silhoutte)are good, and so are the colours
