Just started this last evening. Been working on it most of the day...
My family and I are going on a vacation for several days. I'll be working on this one some more afterward... |

Wow, your work is truly awe-inspiring! I actually had a dream about your latest piece. I was inside that giant pyramidal-shaped building in your last picture, and it was like an apartment complex/playground/shopping mall. It was neat, and to get down to the bottom, you'd slide down a slide on the inside of each side, but you'd stop every 20 seconds so that you wouldn't start moving too fast. I have some wierd dreams . |

I really admire your ambition in experimenting with new styles and subjects. It's certainly something that isn't easy to do and can be extremely frustrating.
I like this picture a lot, especially the texture on the walls. I won't comment much because I'm sure you already plan to fix most of what I see, but I do want to say that the shafts of light coming from the doorways seem out of perspective. (Or maybe they don't work well in two point perspective.)
oh--dontfallin--it seems like you want to start a witch hunt for "fake" or "cheating" artists. Look elsewhere.

LAST EVENING? Damn dude.... you are a blazing fast machine! that's crazy! what program did you use? Please dont' say photoshop/painter
dontfallin: Even if he had traced this image, do you think that would make this image much easier? I don't

dontfallin...
Nope... not a single traced line in the picture. Used a lot of 2 point perspective lines, which oddly enough is a bit like tracing - it's certainly not free hand drawing... more like engineering a picture. Get the point I'm trying to make... It just doesn't matter... there are no rules for art... repeat after me... there are no rules when it comes to making art.

Nice work Eyewoo. I don't read much sci-fi or look at that sort of art much (Actually I've been wanting to draw a mecha for a while, but that's another story) Anyways, I can't figure out what that tenticle thing is in the middle of the scene. Whatever it is, it's nicely rendered but I can't quite tell what it is. Thanks |

Yes... Using PShop's Quick Mask is a major part of my technique... use it all the time for creating textures, those nice straight lines, gradient level and color control... there are so many uses for it. |

Looks really nice. Is the reflection in the lower right portion of the closest walkway correct? Seems like maybe it should be angled the other way? I dunno, don't wanna think about it ![](images/smiles/icon_cool.gif) |

Mykoz... The "quick mask" I refer to is Photoshop's masking tool. very cool tool. I do have tutorials on my website that cover some basic stuff. ...but I'm sure you can appreciate that I do have and want to keep some secrets...
Anthony... yea... I don't wanna think about it either... going to bed... |

I kind of like the first image more, it was more of a golden kind of rich house, reminds me of Perfect Dark, only good. |
