Which form were you trying to make, exactly?
I think what you need is smaller strokes, and many more of them.
Edit: not strokes, I mean smaller coloured squares. But if it were me I'd just do hundreds of little coloured strokes, not squares.

no offense, but i don't think the colors are really creating any kind of form. although it does work if its supposed to be kind of abstract or something. |

This is Basement bound, forgot my password and so i am using my cousins. He was already logged in.
Thanks guy, was trying something new, guess I have to work on it more. The form was suppose to be a glass, for some reason when it scanned the colours altered a little. have to create more of a change in tone for the colours. |

I think the second attempt is a big improvement. Much more depth and roundness achieved. Looks like post-Impressionism. |

Thanks, I like doing this even if it is a little time consuming (coloured pencils vs. painting). I am going to work on this more, kind of fun.
