Honest crtiquing:
His right arm looks as though it had to be dislocated in order to get the sword back where it is without his arm bending more. So try to do something with that, or maybe just make it more obvious that the sword is pointing more backwards.
I think you forgot to include the butt end of the second sword coming out of his left hand. If that is a sword there and not some odd sort of tail.
His feet also look a bit small. I'm waiting for your character to fall over.
Lastly, his bangs seem to be pointing off sideways. Unless of course that was on purpose and he just has wierd hair, in which case nevermind that last comment.
Addendum: Wow, you got flamed to hell in thta thread. Don't get scared away or anything, but in the future try not to make silly assumptions.

Derm, there is no sword in his left hand, it's a sheath for the sword in his right. But I agree with everything else you said.
I have a couple crits also: his face. It's at an angle, but his nose (looks like standard anime line nose to me, but that's fine) appears to be seen straight on. Also, the Dragon Ball Z feet need work.
But you're on the right track, with practice you will become great. Err, that actually sort of depends... How old are you now?
Younger artists have longer to improve before college, uni, paying jobs etc. |

Hmmm, I think i'm just glad that i'm not the only one on this forum that isn't like super good. Well here's my little 2cents: Legs look short, sword could be done better, i like the clothes design, but it could be drawn to fit the characters body better(draw the character structure before makin the clothes) Be sure to post the pic after you redo it. I make alot of the mistakes you do. And i don't mean I "used to" I still DO. Heh heh. I'm outta here. |
