Leroy... Actually for this piece there was no original picture accept for the small NYC buildings which I used a photo ref for. A couple of the back small buildings are photo paintovers - saving time...

The rest is simply out'a my head after watching Blade Runner for the third or fourth time and looking and looking and looking at spooge's landscapes and matte paintings.

Godwin... the size is 5000 x 3400

Mangled... With PS7, I think I need faster processors. Currently I'm using a machine with dual Athlon 1.5 ghz'ers. I have 2 gigs of RAM. This image currently opens in PS7 using 600+ megs of RAM.

Here's a detail of the giant movie screen, featuring a spoogy picture...

I don't think I've seen an artist with as much patience as you, Phil. Yoinks!

pixelS... you mean like all those little windows and things... They're totally cut and pastes and transforms from elsewhere in the picture...

Spooges movie screen is a placeholder until I put one of my own in there...

I'm a little confused as to where this picture has taken me... ...but I'm going to press on with it just for the learning experience if nothing else.

Very very very nice =)

One thing tho...
Why would anyone put a movie screen there? The building its next to is close so I suppose its a "sister building"
The building would eclipse the screen most of the time...

Toast...

The only thing I can think of is for the high-priced penthouse dwellers immediately across from the screen in the left tower... however, any and all rationals seriously entertained...
