Very nice and what I would call -strong- pose.
The most farther away hand (his left) looks abit wierd. I can't make out whether I'm seeing the palm or the knuckles. Judging from the thumb it should be the knuckles. But I see only what I believe to be tiny fingers. Which is the correct way of looking at them? (I might acctually have missed it)
I like the slight bend in the the shooting arm, but I think the bend could start a little earlier, at the elbow. The (very slight) bend should imo extend along the whole of arm starting from the shoulder and the clavicle. Then you could also tone down the bend of the wrist. That hand looks abit small btw.
Other than that, really cool. |

nice pic to be doin
what i wanna tell you is this:
don't leave the sketching stage to early. Rough out the entire scene. Get the mood right. Keep polishing the sketch till it's what you want it to be. Be messy, you can always clean up later.
Then look at the pic closely when it comes to anatomy. Something doesn't seem right about the right leg you drew.
So don't be afraid to sketch, and clean up your mess afterwards. I wish i could post an example. But no such luck.
keep it goin', dogg. Wanna see the result |

Keep in mind that they did use CG for alot of the flying scenes and with this much motion going on they probably didn't go all out to make thinks look perfect in every aspect, and might even have aimed for "a cool" look instead if a "right" one. I acctually think alot of joints looks wicked in the reference. I mean his is spiderman, not rubberman. If that were a real actor he would have broken his neck or been born without one.
Spiderman is strong, he's been bit by a genetically modified spider... Funny, no-one critises Superman's flying abilities even though he has no wings... ![](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |

hmm
been looking at the reference. seems to be nothing or little wrong with it. he just needs to sketch more. Use the cilinder strategy. built people out of cilinders and balls, you know the flavor.
should improve the whole thing bunches |
