Uh, y'know, this is just a forum guys...
When you say you're leaving, it doesn't mean you're casting away this mortal coil or anything.
Why all the drama? I mean, if you're bored/angry at the way the forum is now, take a break and come back later. This place will most probably still be here. And come on, what did you expect? A forum is founded on the people who use it, and people are never a constant. This place was bound to change though not necessarily for the better (as seems to be your opinion).

So why don't you all go to your respective corners, have a nice cry and come back with a renewed perspective to this place.

Bradford: I know where you coming from. Mind you, I think it was then the forum was split up that everything seemed larger and less personal. It's hard just to keep a guage of who everyone is here anymore.

Seriously guys, without any cynicism:

The forum goes through ups and downs. This is the third 'crisis' that it's going through. But it'll go on, don't worry. Maybe not with all the exact people, but it will go on. And it will be fun.

So rather than being all pissed/sad/childish and leaving just to make a point - why don't you lay back, paint something and take a little forum vacation ... it'll help.

On the other hand - the forum is getting bigger and will NEVER be like the beginning of 2000 again. That's just how it is.
I've been in a chatroom from 1995-1998 - and it was great, but after a while thing deteriorated, people got mad at each other, it was too big, too many 'strange' newbies came around ... so everybody got pissed and left and after a while the thing crumbled ...

But sijun has an actual purpose that will always prevail - digital art. And I think people have gotten better on here.

So don't be mad, just kick back, the next forum high is just around the corner ...
