i'm doing concept for for an 3d animated movie called Countdown to Extinction. This is an enforcer droid, basically a police droid. I drew the legs first, I think they may need to be better matched to the large arms. Also i realize that I suck at creating believable mechanical pieces, I just draw lines that look good compositionally, then fill in the detail.
If anyone is interested in our project (the movie) clickity
please don't judge it on the public area, it hasn't been updated in a long time. |

I think that it is a little top heavy and, the inital structure is a little weak to support the rest. intersting. keep it up. |

looking good, i agree with Basement bound
on the top heavy thing though, his hips look especially fragile.
consider drawing a 3-quarter angle view to get a better feel of the shapes.
cheers |

Much, much better. Now work on defining the steel plating. The area around where the arms connect with the body is alittle confusing(how they conect with eachother).
