Just a something I'm diverting myself with. I'll be coloring it over the next couple days.
Comments welcome!

Hey, you paint out your palette just like I do. I like how the colours are coming along, but the posing needs some work. For one thing, the woman's head is tilted in a really odd way, and the taller dude's torso is bending over too far from his waist, making it look like he's going to fall over.
And now that I look again, the woman's torso is tilted too. It would make a much more powerful composition if you straightened them up. Then they'd be ready for some serious tank program busting. |

Thanks for the critique, Jeise, I really appreciate it. I see what your talking about too. Glad I wasn't to far along yet.

Right. Re-touched the drawing a bit, re-did the fugly head on the girl while I was at it. Still plugging away...

I emplore you to just grab the guy on the right and rotate him a tiny bit clockwise otherwise it does like like he's about to fall over. One more thing, the glow on the girl's suite isn't really working, unless fo course you don't want it to glow. I'd get a really bright shade of the colour you've got there, nearly white and use a soft edged airbrush to lay it into the gaps, you will also have to use that colour to highlight the edge of the cracks in the armour to make it really look like it's coming from within. |

Updated pic
Well, I'm sorta married to the big guys position at this point. I was going for dramatic, but I guess it still is a bit over balanced.
As far as the 'inner glow' thing... as far as I can tell from screenshots and such, the light blue, red, or green inner lines on the people/programs doesn't affect the shading on the other areas (check it out at http://www.tron-sector.com/ under the various TRON 2.0 sections.) I'll think about it though.
Thanks for the comments!
I'll be putting in a background now, next stop will be the finished work forum. |
