I haven't worked on this piece for a while, and I went back and worked on it today. Any C&C before I go into the final phase for this painting?

Damn you keep producing artwork all day long! Don't you ever sleep man? Anyways, make the scene objects more misty perhaps. I think everything is a bit too structured right now. Does it make sense? Darks in background seems a little too dark.
Good stuff.

i dont know if what i am saying is true but the pose sorta implies that the head should be tilted slightly, and the eyes and the forehead certainly look tilted, but the mouth and the chit dont look it, i dunno, maybe im just blind. anyway i love that lighting

for me, the head and the arm seem to be a bit too big. well especially the head, the arm seems ok with the perspective. or maybe it's just some perspective thing a newbie won't know anything about Also, maybe he's missing a muscle from his neck above the right arm?

anyhow, really nice job with it. I love the hair, and the green light on him.

Phb- Thanks. I still have much to do on this piece. It's pretty shaky at this point still.

henrik- I've been pretty inspired lately, that's all. Hopefully this streak will keep going.

The background was a last minute idea. It used to be a forest, but I didn't like it. I'm still not sure whether to keep it this way.

zak- Yeah, looks a bit weird to me too. I'll see if I can fix it.

Asurfael- I'll look into it. I'm not sure about the missing muscle though. . ..

Rogelio Olguin- Thanks. Might take a while to finish since I'm juggling a whole group of paintings at the same time.

NiM- Hehehe. This one is painted at a pretty high resolution, so it'll make a good desktop.

It's coming from his blade--a weapon with magick fused in it. I should make the blade brighter so it's more obvious.

Well,

I think his head and arm look a bit big compared to his torso.. He also looks a little off balance, sense I cant see all of his leg... maybe that is just me... also I think this neck muscle on the front arm side would be buldging a bit more since he is reaching out and around to pull out a sword...not sure.. Id have to take a picture ref, or something its hard to imagine.. maybe hop infront of a mirror real quick and do the pose... check your errors that way for anatomy purposes... also somebody said his face should be tilted.. I agree his nose and eyes look it, but mouth and chin look jutting out a little.. maybe pull them back down and in...
Otherwise, looks bad ass, I cant wait to see the finish product. I love to watch your works in progress, they always seem to come out excellante!

Nice Job, Keep it up!
