First post for me and I'm not very good at art (yet This is still very rough. The pose is very boring because I'm trying to shorten the time to complete this pic to match other people's speed and am focusing on effectively using the tools. So I'm looking for some comments on stuff like how I could do shadows better. I've only really tried working on the head so far and I'm looking forward to comments on that too. Thanks.

i like the tones in the top part of the hair but the composition of the face looks very jagged--her nose is crooked and the eyes are a little far apart,..the eyes dont look closed in to be one shape(hard to explain)
try studying face compositions because that will help you with the shadows and the lighting. usually there is a lot of value around the eyes but you'll get it..use darker colors too..sorry im very sloppy with my writing |

Thanks for the feedback. Right now I'm reading up on some tutorials and I thought I'd tried to put it to practice. I'll try out your suggestions now, thanx. |
