I won't go through the whole drugs = bad thing. I got worn out from the last drug thread.

1) You can die from weed. It does give lung cancer, tar or not. My grandfather did, and my dad will.

2) "Shrooms" are sort of fun, and super-dangerous. If you eat like, more than 10 heads in 30 minutes, you will die. That's the reason you don't eat the mushrooms you find in the woods. Nearly all fungi are poisonous, and eating them is usually not a good idea. They do have cool, fun side effects, unless you just watched a creepy movie. .. . .. . (I saw monsters everywhere that day)

3) LSD/PCP/Angel Dust/Acid rots your brain. It also has less and less of a potent effect everytime you take a hit. After a while, you have to start taking two hits, then three, and it keeps on going until you're A) insane or b) braindead.

4) Meth is not fun.

5) Cocaine/crack is hard to smoke. After 3 hits you're pretty much done for the day. Not that you'd need anymore.

6) Heroin makes you skinny. And it's dirty.

7) Raver drugs (ecstacy, mescalin, etc.) are pop fun happy drugs that suck. They shut down ceratonin production and leave you depressed for the rest of your life.

8) Aerosol highs are about as low as you can get. What you are actually feeling is your brain going into shock from its getting killed.

I know all of this from my 3.56 years of dealing drugs, doing drugs, and growing drugs. I'm a perfectionist, and I like to know my craft.

Drugs are the cheap and easy way to get where years of mental training can take you. If you want creativity or to look at things in a new way, meditate. Drink tea. Walk around with your video camera upside down.

Drugs are poison. Poison is bad.

And we should legalize ALL drugs. Not just marijuana. (I live in the state with the pothead governor that wants to legalize weed.)

Imagine:

America spends billions of dollars fighting drugs every year.

Drug dealers make a trillion dollars a year selling drugs.

If we legalize all drugs, it means

a) The government can tax the hell out of them, meaning they get billions upon billions from drugs instead of spending that money fighting them.

b) Drugs are at least safer, and haven't been smuggled up some guy's AID's infected ass as he crossed Central America.

c) Drug dealers are cut out of the loop, and become as archaic as IBM punch card operators.

d) The economy would be strengthened.

e) drug use would decline.

my grades haven't went down from drugs, physically i am in awesome shape, and i haven't lost any friends over this stuff... the only thing i've noticed since i started is:

(1)i've made a fuckload of more friends, good ones and bad ones, mostly good ones.

(2)i have had an increase in creativity while composing music.

(3)my boring days are over and have been filled with fun, be it a genuine or artificial happiness i feel.

The only bad thing i think about weed(besides the insane amount of $$$ it costs nowadays), is that maybe it has lead me into other drugs... maybe it was just me, but i don't think i would have tried anything else if it weren't for weed. thank you weed for introducing me to cubensis. i heard someone say something about shrooms being relatively harmless... well i don't know about that, it's kind of like alcohal, like, it fucks your liver big time. the only difference is that shrooms have a more acute, quicker result on your liver compared to the long term alcohal deal. either way, shrooming is a quick and easy way out to a cheap vacation of melting windows and crazy features.

if you're worried about bad mushrooms, just grow your own and not only will you save your sappy 20 bucks an eighth, you'll insure safe and good quality shrooming. as oppose to waiting months after months for your green to grow to ripeness, why not settle for a few weeks for your psychadelic shrooms??

I usually have to keep sober when working ... but the green, beef jerky, some beer and (oldie but goodie) Mario Kart on the N64 are always enjoyable ...

A nice load of the fungus hunmongous is very nice too every once in a while - music works better with it than painting though ...

I just talked to an actor friend I didn't see at all last quarter. He started smoking weed and drinking on a daily basis, did acid, mushrooms, and cocoa puffs... bad idea, right? Well, he got straight A's in five classes and got cast in a cool Shakespeare production! Meanwhile I just got busted for smoking once in my dorm room! Fucking bastard!

I took a double hit of LSD on accident once. I didn't see god. I went to the hospital. My dreams are far more psychodelic than that was. I have to admit, however, the clouds were pretty amazing. But it didn't help my art though.
