The reason for this, for some reason the wacom pen aches my hand a lot, i dunno whether i am holding differently to how i draw with a pencil or biro. Another reason is, I CANNOT COLOUR! so please help! i have no idea what to do next on this image...

keep going it is looking good. Just start adding some brighter highlights and darker shadows. perhaps add some arbitrary colours in, but save it in stages.

Ok heres a better attempt at the beak, sorta getting used to it a bit more now... It would be nice to see others do paint overs so i can see how to work.

Colours that you would not really would find on the bird like some blues and yellows. It might work, it might not. I like the update, keep with the sketchy brush strokes.

usally you use small amounts of reds dark reds blues dark blue on shadows just get s sense of deepness... It works with traditonal art and should work here acually my teacher always tells me to use dark reds for some shadows instead of black becuase in paint black just dulls the shadows.. and dark red is very intense.. and iti s true at least to the eye and that is some basic tricks to grab peoples attention
