Ship is good so far but I'd work on that background a bit more if I were you, especially the first hundred miles off the surface of the planet, all of the starts look encased in a big sphere or something.. |

your technique is aeon's away from weird!
is the photoshopped part of the ship in shadow? there doesn't seem to be any plains where the light is clearly hitting\missing but the 3d model shows otherwise. i would also try to space those stars a little more randomly. |

my 3d model has extreme light and shadow.. didn't spend a whole lot of time on the model.. just wanted to get lights and darks... and right now the model looks like there are 2 light sources.. and there is.. I just havn't finished that part of the ship yet.. as for the stars not being random enough.. I'll fix that... Thanks for the C&C.

I like this piece. The technique is crazy.
The color you're using for the background now is better, I think, than the background in the first version. I also think the actual ship design is pretty nice.
Are you going to add stars, or just keep the blackness? |

I am very impressed by this work. Your attention to detail is amazing. The ship design is great, and the background image is improved from the first post. A recomendation would be to lower the contrast on the bright, white, middle section of the ship. My eye is instantly drawn to that part of the image and it is blinding to me. I can't stop looking at it. At first glance I didn't notice the amazing detail you put into the rest of the ship. Perhaps make the middle section of the ship look more like the rest of the ship (fine detail in green). Just a suggestion. Amazing work.
