I think I'm going to paint this if I get enough positive feedback. Let me know what you think, especially about the composition

I've shown you this already, I'll post it anyway because it might help others to come up good ideas to add.
The values suggested probably aren't too accurate and can change a lot depending on the time of day you wish to portray so it's probably best no to follow them too closely.

It'll be a great painting. My favorite parts are the twisted tree to the right of the picture and the frog on the log... (it IS a frog, right? )
I think it would look nice if you chose a lighting scheme that involved shafts of sunlight piercing a sort of dense marsh-like environment. |

Well I didn't go to the liberty to tone it like Captain did, but I DID re-arrange the composition a bit
I'm really not sure if it's better or worse. Input needed
yip, _is_ a frog hehe

it seems a bit plain, its a cool composition, but it lacks a central kinda thing, like a girl in the lake (cliche?!) i dont know really, its up to you, its your picture. post some updates if you decide to paint it. |

added a little color
Razzak, you're right, normally I wouldn't even paint a nature scene. But client wants something he can hang in his living room. Adding things like a women taking a bath take a way from the class factor for some reason =\
