Here a drawing I've been workingon a bit, testing my new pentablet...
It's not much, and I'm not sure how to improve it, especially the background still sucks @$$...Ofcourse, it's very much a WIP.
Anyone who has a good idea to help out a rookie like me?
Thanks in advance,
V.
(edit: btw, yes, the square in the left top corner is supposed to stay blanc. *S*)

It looks like you seem to have a fine start on this pic. You may want to try to separate the foreground from the middleground more, it looks to me as though a giant is laying his hand on the table instead of a fellow close to us waving. Also the white-haired fellow seems to be walking on the table, and about to fall off -- is this right? But your linework is wonderful, keep it up!
Also, the dragon seems reminiscent of Dragonheart

Thanks Walkaer, you're quite right concerning the foreground. (now I just have to figure our how to seperate them )
Thanks for having a look and for your comments.
As for it being reminiscent of dragonheart: You're damn skippy! *laughs* Yes, I based the dragon on Draco from Dragonheart...I loved that dragon, And I wanted the dragon to look like one that would interact with humans...and Draco immediately came to mind.

PS: The guy seeming to walk off the table is because of layer posiioning...when I get to him I'll put him behind the table, ofcourse.
