I think the area under his nose needs to have a darker shadow because his nose seems to be very flat. |

pretty good - just one thing bothering me (hope i get this across right) basically it kinda looks like one side of the face is an exact mirror image of the other -i think it makes it look slighly false -maybe just me ![](images/smiles/icon_confused.gif) |

From looking at the series of pictures it looks like you did actually mirror the face. I think it's okay to use this technique, but then you have to be sure that you re-shade the mirrored side so it fits the light source. It looks like you started to do that (on the right side) but there are still some areas that look a bit off.
Right now, it looks like there's a light shining directly on his nose (without leaving a shadow under as mentioned earlier), but there's also something leaving a shadow starting about halfway up the length of his nose, and then the area between his eyes is dark as well. The combination of this shading sort of makes it look like his nose is glowing and lighting the rest of his face...
Aside from the light sources, though, the shape of the cyborg's head is looking good. |
