We've drawn a blank on where to go from here with this guy so any suggestions are much appreciated

Looks cool to me.

When you ask for c&c on something like this, likely you'll not get to many responses only because it looks finished as is.

What is it that you�re looking for; Cartoon or Realism?

It also helps if you point out an artist that might have inspired you. If you like that artist's style and would like to know how to get their results or certain aspects of it, then this will help people in aiding you with a direction.

Otherwise you have a style of your own and no c&c will seem to be needed.

What is the guy hiding behind? A fence? A plank?

I think it'd be cool if it was some kinda sign. Maybe something funny

Thanks for the tip mythwarden, I guess what I was trying to say was that it seems a little empty, almost like there should be something written on the fence (yeah it is supposed to be a fence TossMonkey), theres just too much space there for it to be left the way it is, also any ideas for a background setting, I cant seem to think of anything that would suit the piece.

Now that I look it at it, that bottom foot looks all wrong, looks as if his crouching to the side and hanging behind the fence...I may have to fix that..
