Hello, all. It's been a while since I last picture posted here.
I'm working on this picture. But I constantly struggle with colours. And composition is a problem as well, but at my skill-level a minor problem.
This picture went through several stages. Here are three steps.
Maybe you can tell me what you think fits better. The monochrom blue look or the colourful dawn look.
I'm thankful for all your thoughts. The shapes are not final and I will add the two guards, when I have the rough colourscheme.
Thank you for your time |

I like the blues better. The colorful version is really nice, and all, but it just seems to me that the blues fits the picture better.
Can't help you much on the composition, except to mention that in japanese comics they have a "rule" that states that you should be able to draw a triangle between the major elements in ALL pictures.
This picture only has two elements(The guard tower, and the light in the sky). It might help to introduce a third element up in the sky somewhere(A moon, a bird, a plane, a superman, whatever). Might make the picture look less empty. On the other hand it might make the composition look too "obvious", in a way.
Great picture, hope my comments help at least a little bit. |

Wooo Bg, I love what you did.
Wigin, you made it look like a miniature nuclear fallout inside that tower dude.
Awesome subject to begin with. Very calm. |
