hey Floppy dog,

First I just want to say you should not listen to your professer if he says you have no talent. From your images I can see you have an idea in your head, you may be having some trouble with getting that image drawn on paper but hell I think almost every artist has struggled with that at one point or another.

If you want to draw and get better all I can say is buy a sketchbook and draw as much as you can. Buy some books on anatomy and do some study on perspective and lighting. But it all comes down to practice.

Keep at it man and if you post here and listen to the crits people give to you, you will see improvement in no time.

Hope to see more of your work.

Floopy dog,
practice makes perfect. Inital sketches puts an idea out there sometimes they are great sometime they show what needs improvement Now that you have figured out what you want. You now have to figure out how to do it. Take these ideas that you have done and redo them from different point of view or perspective. Think them out, plan them a little more.

looking good, your on your way.
JA

I have a teacher, and he is the most famous photographer in Norway. He said to me that he didn't have any talent. (what the hell I thought...

To make good pictures you need three things are important....

Talent, putting much time into the work, beeing eger.

You only need two of those above. My teacher has no talent, but he spends all his time and is very eger about his photos.... so, don't think about your talent.... might be not that important afterall....

(sorry about my english....)

Were these signed in 1990? Holy shit, that's along time ago.

If you haven't done any drawing since then, best break out your pencils and get busy.

I don't understand what somebody's opinion has to do with your desire to draw. Fuck'em.
