Hi guys, I'm a first timer here. I'm 16 years old, and plan to become a game designer in the future..

...right now, i'm trying to get better in everything i know off related to computers (web design, gaphics, etc). Here is the first drawing/coloring i made in Photoshop 6. I tried to make it just like the in the movies.. please five suggestions and advice. Thx.

that looks kinda cool, ill just make a couple quick comments:

its far to dark, lighten it up a bit

it looks like it is a flat alien with some variation in height, but not really round, not truly 3d looking, more like a bas relief.
try to get him looking more round, focus on your lighting and shading.

here is a tutorial on understanding 3d forms that might be helpfull.

Thanks for the link trafnar, really helpful.. i'll look forward to use the insights provided in that article to make my image even better
