Well, been lurking, letting my eye pass over all the astounding work that appears here, been shoving the idea to post around and 'lo and behold, I did it!!! My first time post on the Sijunforum.
My attempt to draw Edward Norton from The Fightclubmovie. It's based on the DVD booklet (backside picture).
The problem is that the picture has multiple lights (backlighting etc. etc.) and has been filtered in photoshop with some nice color gadgets, so it's hard to figure out how to translate this properly to greyscale.
I'm getting there, but critics are very, very welcome, let 'er rip!! =D |

Knew exactly who it was... good job.don't know what the filter or brush you used in the hair an beard, but it's to sharp... Need to stick with the heavier strokes and tighten up from there... |

Thanks =D I'm working with PsP heheheh, hair is done with a very small and transparant brush.
I rarely do hair so I'm figuring out what works, seems best option is to paint hair by hair =D
Thanks for the crit (my first crit! yay! =) |

Not bad, but go easy with the old airbrush tool. Try and get some texture into it!
I knew who it was though,...a valiant effort good sir!
You should get a job in Leceister Square! |
