hehe...only subject line I could come up with  Anyway, this is one I'm working. Started last night. About 1 1/2 hours into it. I found this image by typing "celebrity" in google's "images" category. I can tell the eyes are skewed and the lips need re-adjusted, but I'll get to that...

The face looks a bit too wide, so do the eyes...the lips and nose look good!
Be careful also with the placement of the eyes - they're not on the same line. |

Thanks Novacaptain. I noticed the width of the face after I did the first portion, but figured I could deal with it (since I was too far in at that point). You can see that've I've straightened up the eyes quite a bit since the first one, but I can still see what you're referring to about them not being in a line. I'll work on that next. Thanks for the feedback.

This one is nearing completion. Need to do the eyebrows and the hand. A little cleanup here and there and I'll put this in Gallery/Finished Work:

ur work is good! NO doubt!
BUT u realy need to check up ur proportions ALL the time!!!!!!
When u draw especially after a pic, u have to check up ALL the time... u have the time to do it!!!!!!
the nose and the mouth doesn�t work together....... they arent fitting eachother!!!!!!!!!BUT HEY...... it is a matter of devotion.... and u sure show it!!! SO KEEP UP MY FRIEND!!! |

OK- Left eye to low, eyes to big, nose WAY too small and twisted to the left... I don't think that the face in general is to wide, but the eyes being as large as they are makes it look that way.
Really, really like the lips... have a sorta billy idol thang going on... the detail is awesome, but the proportions are way off... Looks as though you built out the image zoomed in tightly, without looking at the complete package beforehand.
Even though this comes across as harsh, I think that it's an awesome start. |
