Yeah I agree... its not really working!
One of our most intuitive strengths is the power to read and interpret a face in a split second. We will instinctly know if something isn't "in place"! And I think thats why you see two people, as their first reaction, say its not working!
Its coming along, no doubt about that, but there seem to be alot of anatomical errors, hard to detect, but I believe they are there even so!
Have you used any kind of references? If not, you should get into studying the human proportions, the sooner the better!
First few, and just the first few I stumbled over without really looking for them... the eyes should be further back in their sockets, the socket should be showing the bone connected to the ridge of the nose just above the eye more, and the eyeball itself shouldn't be so outstanding (It seems to big as well)!
But keep at it, and keep us posted!!

I know faces are tough. It takes a lot of dedication to get them right. I've sampled your face with a tint of evil to it.
