ok.. I just bought this Trust 100 tablet thingie.. (Cheapest tablet I could find)

I have never worked with this kind of device before, so I'm pretty happy that my first result turned out rather well.
After only the first day.
And I never really painted anything before..
Only MANY years back in gradeschool.

C&C welcome..

It looks pretty good. I nice job on the shape of the figure, it's perportional and readable. I like your colour scheme but don't go over board with that bright red line. Define your light and shadow shapes more. On a mech suit like that the edges between light and dark will be hard and angular. Try to work a more painterly background (don't use so many round brushes in it). Give him legs, he can't walk for gods sake

@hunter.. thanx.. i'll look at it.

@razzak..
hehe.. well.. the Trust 100 was dirt cheap..
the only problems I have found so far, is that the pen isn't always good, working from a semisharp angel. And angular lines have a tendency to be jerky.
I have no idea (other then what you tell me) if the wacom is better..
but so far I'm pretty satisfied.. still it's far from perfect.... and keep in mind that the Trust thingie is my only refrence source.

I did considor buying the Wacom Cintiq.. the concept is sooo cooool!!
but also very expensive.. so I just bought this to atleast have a taste of digitizers.

please fill me in on all the bad things, using Trust... besides Trust beeing evil.. (and cheap)... =O)

I like the mood you have here, but the lower, murky part does nothing for the picture I think - try it yourself, just hold your hand over it, and see if the picture is better with or without. This is something I used to do in real life painting, and it's even easier digitally... *crop*
