hey guys, this is by my friend Bay, he's posted on here a few times. he's currently working on this creature it's about 4 feet tall. it's a fish man.

looks great! incredible detail and very well defined. my only crit is that he looks too mammal-ish.. i'd lose the nose if i were going for a "fish man" look. |

thats sooo cool, i wanna make one. how is it made, do you know? wood and metal frame and then the rest clay? is he gonna make a mold of it in the end? or paint it or what? |

he'll cast it with silicon after he's done sculpting it.
he's spent alot of time on this one, there's metal and foam under it i think.
it's non drying clay, the brand is Klean Klay, or some shit like that. but he likes it.
everything will remain. the hell with you all! |

wow! amazing detail there. Is he going to textu.... er. paint it or anything?
I agree, lose the nose for a more fish like appearance, but if I was the sculptor I'd say the hell with you all and leave it hehe

awesome!! I wish i could do something like that!
But there is just one point I don't like: the ears totally look like a human ear which doesn't fit to a fish man model I think. |
