I know I must have said this before, but I totally love this series. The girl and her dino are so sweet.
Have you finally decided what color he is going to be? From this picture he looks sort of purplish. And purple dinos tend to bring to mind You Know Who. 
I'm not certain about the position of the girl, though. It looks *really* uncomfortable. If she was looking at the dragon while throwing sand between her legs, it would be much more comfortable and natural just to hang her head down and look at him upside down.
On the other hand, if you still want the girl's face in the picture, she would probably be crouching with her body facing slightly away from the dragon and her head looking up at him from over her shoulder.
But straight legs, straight back, and head twisted around just looks a bit uncomfortable.  Believe me, I've been through many a sand-fight. 
Just my opinion, of course. |

A new sketch... Still very much work to be done but I feel the background lacks something - the entire composition isn't good.. c&c is welcome..

Thanx for the comments and suggestions.. I'm happy with her pose - I've noticed that women seldomly bend their knees when they have to pick something up - and besides I like the not so subtle undertones it gives.. totally intentional - hope that doesn't qualify me as a male chauvenist pig!
