Looking really good. To seperate the cliff in the foreground with the cliff wall in the background, I'd make it kinda misty from the bottom of the cliff wall.
Your few hours of work look so much better then my countless attempts at painting so I doubt there is much I can help you with.
Tell us what your plans are, what you are going to do next to it, and maybe someone can give you a better idea of how to proceed. Kinda hard to say too much at this point because it is still in the beginning stages, but it looks like you are progressing well to me. |

right now this is more of a learnign thing.. i dont hav much experience painting this stuff.plus since im paingint this with a mouse is kind of crappy.. i miss my tablet...

put your highest contrasts closer to the viewer and less into the distance.
instead of already detailing the rocks,
ruff out the whole image to really see
what colors, values etc. will work
on your pic.
maybe something like this:

hello mr sponge =D
I played around with the opacity
of the different levels.
also:
for the repaint I kept the colors
purple/pink in mind (those white buildings
are slightly pink , shadows are purplish-
I tried to match the other colors with
those 2 basecolors.
