Damn neat. I like the painterliness of the piece. IMHO, i would focus on adding some definition to the arms and hands. I strive (but fail) to put off working on the head of a figure to the very last, that way i don't get burnt out on a piece so fast. I only mention this, cause Elecrta's head is well done. Wolvie's is coming along well too, just it looks like he has "goth" lipstick on right now.
Okay, I'm finished. Except to say I like it a lot and anticpate seeing it fininshed.

nice start. i like the painterly feel as well. however, im not a follower of xmen, so im not sure what is happening in this pic.
are they fighting, playing, hugging? Its difficult to tell, mostly because of the facial expressions seem to contridict whats happening in the picture. i would work on that a bit more.
it would be great to see more. |

pretty good - though it does look a bit like Wolverines head is on Elektras' body. |

I like the wrapping up of the bodies and her hand in his hair (though I usually feel that's a cop out for not drawing hands, not this time).
There are enormous problems, however, once you get below Wolvie's lower arm. The amount of body down there is equal to what one of Elektra's legs should take up. Draw her by herself on a layer over this and it will stand out bigger than life.
Elektra's face, as well, I think is ill proportioned, especially with respect to her nose. She is Greek and should have a healthy, beautiful probocis. You may not even be able to see her far eye.
Wolvie's eyes, also, look heavy-lidded and together with his pale skin, makes him look stoned.
Please keep going with this, it has a really good feel. |
