Ok it has been a very long time since I have had the courage to post something I had drawn in here... I do have a tablet, however it is broken and dumbass wacom inc is giving methe runaround on getting the thing replaced (not broken on my account).
So anyways here it is so far, going to paint him as soon as I can get the replacement.
Drag to address bar
C&C always welcome .
<edit> oh and btw i know his last name means the child in french, but it's a d&d character so french isn't a recognized language </edit>

Ok obviously not very many people like this as I have posted it in 5 forums and only gotten 3 replies... could someone who doesn't like it tell me why they dont? Is it just boring? Is there some major mistake I am not seeing? Is it because it was done with a pencil rather than in software? I'm grasping for straws here... PLEASE someone has to tell me, I will never learn through silence |

Lomi- Ok, I'll be honest with you. I almost never give C&C to artwork that appears to need lots of basic art training. The reason is because I'd have to C&C on just about everything, and that is just too much. I'm not telling you this to discourage you, as we all go through this stage.
At this point, you need a lot of basic training to get your drawings up to the level that can receive truely helpful C&C. Where you are at right now, just about any instructional art book found in book stores would be more helpful than mere paragraphs anyone here can provide you with.
I suggest books like Jack Hamm's Drawing the Head and Figure, or any of the Loomis books you can get your hands on.
If you studied and practiced intensively for a period of time, you'll notice a huge difference in the level of your drawings. |
