I have painted this picture.
I'm happy enough with rock's, but for now i want to paint some grass and trees down there (where the green block color is).
Could somebody help me with this problem?
URL? Overpaint?
Also - what do you think about thouse rock's? Anything else on the picture is not finished yet. |

I can't shink about anything but drawing the grass like a bunch of lines and then "array" them.
About the rocks... I think U could use some more grey and shadows. They are COOL, but so bright... |

I try to paint some grass. I make custom brush with many small chaotic circles.
But i don't like how this grass looks... |

The grass is too far away to be anything else than a green blob I think.
You should try to do it with more different shades of green and maybe some slight elevations. You could also put some smaller rocks in there to make it less greenblobby. Or patches of sand where the grass runs thin.
I dunno... Just try out some stuff. |

But the main idea is rught? Make custom brush that paint several parts of grass and then stroke, stroke, stroke... right? |

It would be difficult to say what is right or wrong. The trick is to get it to look like what you wanted it to in the end.
I'm assuming that little thing next to the big structure there is a tank, correct? If so the grass you drew in the second picture would stand roughly 2 or 3 stories tall. Grass might be as high as the width of the tank's treads.
But changing the stroke length won't be the answer.
I think the problem is that you are looking at this picture and you know that all the green areas are grass and you think you have to drawa bunch of grass to represent it. Don't paint what you know is there, only what your eyes would see.
From this distance, like edraket said, you wouldn't be able to make out blades of grass.
What you might want to consider doing is putting in bare patches, or rocks as edraket said. Maybe make a worn pathway where grass doesn't grow showing where the tanks and stuff go to and from the base. Trees or bushes might also work. Our eyes will understand that the green stuff is grass without having to draw it as such.
The best thing you could do would be to sift through photos to try and find one of a grassy area at a similar distance to the one in your pic and study it carefully.
