Very nice work! I like not only the design, but the color design as well. I have a thing for aquatic hi-tech stuff(side effect from being a fan of Yamashita Ikuto's Dark Whisper). I've done similar designs in the past, and I think it's a theme I would get back to eventually.
Keep em' coming if you have more. |

Lunatique: thanks, vehicle design is something completely new to me, glad to see im getting somewhere with it. i had a bit of a look for Yamashita Ikuto's work and didn't find very much, but what i did find was dammed impressive (some work from a film, think it was called submarine6 or something)
So i dont suppose you have any good links to toss my direction concerning him or concept designs similar to his work?
maybe even post some of your own aquatic designs? id like to see them.
im afraid this is all i have, it was jus a quick project, i did fill a sketch pad with designs but they are all crap with the exception of the last few which i developed into the above rendering.
jabber: thanks, was done at 300dpi, 4134 x 3543px

It's almost impossible to find anything on Yamashita's Dark Whisper(I'm so lucky I snatched them up when they were still available back in the early 90's)
It's talked about briefly here: dark whisper
This page has the publication serial numbers for them, in case they are still available and you want them:
DW serial numbers
My own designs are all in California, stored away in boxes. (I'm in China right now) My two volumes of Dark Whisper are also there, so I can't scan anything in to show you. Sorry. ![](images/smiles/icon_sad.gif) |
