I'm trying to do a detailed painting, until now I only did very rough and simple stuff (ok I don't paint for so long now... a week? two?). c&c welcome

I like how the detail in the front is coming along. I would put something like ruins or an oasis to make it a more complete piece. So far so good though.

yeah now I see you're right, especially the shadow of that stone on the lower right is wrong ("right is wrong" haha, however ) but what's wrong with the perspective

It looks a little like we're looking through a fish eye lens. The far left cliff looks like it's on a very (extremely) curved piece of ground. The foreground also has a bit of this feel.

and watch your perspective.

I"m wondering what kind of clouds you chose to paint? They don't seem to have a structure. Did you use a reference for your clouds because at the moment, they look flat. Clouds actually have volume and weight even though in reality, they are made of physical vapour. I suggest you do some studies from the real thing first. There isn't any real sense of perspective yet.

Just an observation. VERY nice ground though.

By the way, clouds are one of the hardest things to paint. good luck!
