wow.. same size even.. even the strands of hair are at the same place.. hehe..
I guess you couldnt paint the BG in 1.5 hours? hehe
well.. I'm not an expert.. so I dont know.. but ur work looks like a paintover.. even a filter applied on the original.. If not.. then you need to be a little creative and change the pic kinda so that people dont accuse you of using filters. |

thenetbox: it's not a paintover nor a filter job. I wasn't looking for creativity because (like I said) it was my first digi-painting. If you're not convinced, put them together on the screen in seperate windows and flip between them. Also, the contrast is obviously skewed in my version.
dttrip: hell yeah - I cant get enough of these guys. I agree SCIENCE is the best! |

Thenetbox: it seems as though you haven't looked at the picture prior to giving your first qritique. Look at the hand in relation to the nose and mouth.
And people shouldn't change their artwork just so that other artists wouldn't accuse them of overpainting if it isn't one...what hell is that all about??!
Well...just a bit of rambling there
Very good Yacobs, I'd like to see some more contrast or some sharper edges.
Otherwise a job very well done!!

Nice work. Only crit is that it's sharp around the head area, then tends to blur out as you look down.

Check out his right arm, it looks way too thin in your pic up at the shoulder. Looks good though! |

I'd say it looks great, but it seems like you left out a few lines on the face, it makes the expression look less "explosive" (for lack of a better word) basic you missed a line one the check and one near the eye, it makes him look sort of like hes yawning heh heh. But I like it, it's pretty cool. |
