im in a digital surfacing class an we are supposed to paint a creature of some kind. i did a quick sketch of some alien guy and scanned him in, his features have changed alot.

this is after about 3 hours, i havnt used photoshop to paint a whole picture before, although i have airbrushed quite a bit IRL.

im going to contunue as i have here, but it needs something... im thinking one arm holding an ornate staff or something.

ps. im leaving out his eyes - he is a soul-seer - i dont know, just made it up

Cool, I like it better without the eyes. Kind of reminds me of a mole's nose, with all the feeler things. A staff might be cool, how about putting something on top of the staff that is some sort of seeing device? I don't know just an idea. Looks good for your firs time, make sure you post it when its done.

not sure how im going to 'attach' the eye to the stick, maybe eletric bolts, or a solid structure...

I love the way it looks coloured, it's amazing. He reminds me of the first demon thing you see in omikron.

i don't see why the eye has to be attached to the stick at all... much nicer just to have it hovering. Neat design, BTW
