just a little WIP
Please berate this horrible attempt at sketching and then coloring a woman.. if you dont her horrible beast arms will crush me... and.. I hate breasts.. I cant shade them for hell! |

Er, well don't put yourself down so hard. It looks like all the fundamentals are there, now just work on anatomy and proportion.
Oh, is she playing a drum, or casting over a steaming cauldron? |

'nyway try to work on the proportions of her body. Get some pictures (pr0n will do ) and use them as refference to draw human bodies... |

ohh! I couldn't help but have a good chuckle. The problem that I see here which I've been guilty of is drawing women the way I "THINK" women look like. Not actually how they are. Thank God a couple of figure drawing courses cured me of that! It's a nice attempt except that the body and musculature look more male than female. The waist is alot slimmer on a woman and higher. Also, the breasts hang lower with the clavical bones curved downward. On a man, it's straight across. Also, a woman's shoulder muscles and arms are not so well-defined. Go get a reference if you need. Demi Moore in "StripTease" had an awesome body - blend between soft and muscular. Good Luck! You don't know how CLOSE you are to getting it right. |
