I'm still working on this naturally...and I'm having problems with the leg on the right (her left leg). It looks a lot shorter compared to her right leg, and it's mainly due to how the thigh is colored; the perspective is off. Right now it looks flat and I think it's due to her knee; I colored it wrong. Advice?

the coloring looks good except for that...it looks like her closer leg is further away....hmmmm |

i think that having the two skates exactly the same (in appearence) on either side is having a wierd effect on the viewers perception of perspective with regard to the legs.
i maybe try making the inside of the skate up of slightly different shapes, or in some way show a difference between the two, maybe a logo on the outside of the nearest one?
EDIT: forgot to say i really like the image so far, nice'n'dynamic!

Well, if you measure the length between the knee and the top of the skate on both of the legs, you'll notice that they are the same. I would suggest making the left (our right) shin longer so perspective seems right.
