colour it looks good, like the hand, but the thing around her, is it grass or weed or whatever, know what i mean its not clear what it is. it needs some overwork ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Nice sketch, but if it were me, I'd rework it a bit before going to the color stage. the head needs some detailing; at it's present state it looks a bit 'cartoonish' and flat. Flesh out the face since that will be one of the focal points of your picture...
I really like her right arm and the mood of the piece; keep up the good work. Hopefully I'll be able to show some of my work when my site gets up and running...

Hmm... I thought she was laying down on a bear rug and had it around her... For some reason it made me think of Bjorn, if he had a g/f. (Bjorn from LotR. The Bear/guy.) Or of the story of the Princess and the HedgeHog. (A variation of Beauty and the Beast.) Anyway, it's a great start! What kind of hues are you thinking of going to? I, personally, would be using warm hues of brown, tan and orange, but can see going towards the cooler side of the spectrum... Maybe a Blue/Green motif? |
