This chap has intentionally short arms and long legs (before anyone asks) to compensate for the rest of its weirdness.
The idea is to show something pulling against intense forces. It is being pulled from its spine and pushing against a strong blast (maybe a bomb).
Problem is, there is something missing...

The thing that's missing is a destination, he is trying to get away, but from what? or where to? give him something to run from, or run too, and i think it will work nicely. I like the freakish anatomy, i would make his arms freakishly long too, just to maintain some balance.

Which picture am I supposed to be looking at? Why can't you post the pic to the forum? It's getting increasingly time consuming going to people's sites to hunt down images to c&c

Wow I get replies to messages without pictures!
Yes, I made a botch job at posting my work. I'm tired of bad tempered, irrational attacks from people in this forum. So here's big 'SORRY' to Specialbrew. Thanks to Tarandon for his/her patience and comments, and Thenetbox for fixing my mistake. |

After reading several replies to my work throughout this entire forum, I have come to the decision to make this my last post.
This has nothing to do with my earlier mistake but to the blunt and careless remarks made about one-another’s work. After all, we are artists of a huge standard and bitching about trivial matters is childish and not professional. |

Audacity, since I've started to make an effort to crit people's work, I've found that the sheer number of submissions is a time-consuming task to work through. There are simply not the hours in the day to be wading through sites looking for an elusive image.
If you don't feel that you want to post here any longer, then that can only be your own loss.

Overreacting a bit I think.
You may call me tempered and irrational if you like, but I must say that everyone, you included, should not be upset so easily by peoples comments, this is a public forum, and some people may be stepping on your toes intentionally or not, and there is also no way of stopping them from doing that.
Is it really to much to ask that whoever posts here at Sijun takes the little time neccesary to check that your post went well ?? I don't think so, I always check my own posts to se if something essential went haywire, and if it did, I fix it.
I'm not sure what other posts exactly pissed you off, whether people asking you if your creature is omnivorous or if it is a paintover or if you used a mouse, or maybe just asking you where the image is. That last one seems to be your biggest headache, looking at a couple of your previous posts.
You may want to either,
A.reduce the filesizes, or
B.get a faster and more reliable server
And then there is this ...
From your "Anybody like dragons?" post ...
When a painter sees a part of a painting that has reached photographic quality of a skeletal dino head, when the rest of the image display obvious brushstrokes it does raise certain questions. I said "If I wanted to be suspicious, I could say that the image looks a lot like a skeletal head of a T-Rex with textures painted over it for skin ...
... and you replied "Thanks for the advice. Actually, that sounds a good idea (your theory of the picture development) although it only started from an A3 sketch with a Biro pen. I did complete it and changed the hue/saturation and added a simple motion blur, other than that all textures and stuff, I did."
I left it at that ...
