Here's a new image I whipped up in under 2 hours for my images and ideas class.
Its unfinished...but i'd like to hear comments, suggestions, etc.
If you like it please don't hesitate to state so !

All right... I wont hesitate!
Its a beautyfull drawing! I think you have especially succeded in framing her face in a very powerfull way, with the hair darkening, the closer it gets to the face, and the lighting of the centerface!!!
Well I just posted the reply, and thought of one comment to add... the way her head is connected to her shoulders (the neck) seem to disturbe me a bit! Cant explain it any further though!
I love the "natural brushstroke feel"!! I wish I could achieve the same, but it seems like every time I start colouring my sketches I just dont seem to know when to stop... untill I've ruined every acrylic/oily feel of the painting!
Any secrets???

oh and here's an update on it.
secrets ? hmm, i'd just say treat it like you would treat an oil painting. Leave that painterly brush stroke feel to it...
not really sure, this is the first piece I spent more than 2 hours on in a long time, i'm happy with it...
