This one is a venture to affix a wing to a lady`s arm.
The difficulty for me is to transform her shoulder to a birdy skeleton, especially to leave the human armpit and extract a wing from below.
Can anybody help me with this?

And here is the ref::the drawn lady

Thank U!

Hmm, yeah, what I think about this is that if you'd like to bring a bird's proportions into a human, you really have to stretch the concept. The arm looks too thin for a human torso, but it looks right for the length of the wing. So when you want to balance these two, I would try to make the wing way longer.
And still you'll think there's something wrong I guess, because with our human muscle volume, it would be impossible to fly, even with gigantic and ultralight wings. Maybe a human would sail a bit. That's a possibility.

You have it wrong from the beginning. That's why you are having problems.
You have put the hand of the wing directly on the elbow. Check my little illustration:

You probably have to refresh (press F5) to see it.

OKie,
abouve all I would like to thanks U for the advises.

jome, "something wrong" is the reason for my post, but i don`t want to make a model, who will fly really...just something like "can U imagine if this people had a wings?"...and I will try to make the wing way longer.

dkmblad, I don`t claim to know the birds` bone sructure but I had a pic which I decided was more suitable form for extending the human arm. so here is it
if i modify the wing to look like your draft I have to reverse all the silouete. may be it would be the right position but i want exactly the present one.

have a nice day

Why ask for advice if it's perfect already? I'm sorry if I sounded high and mighty. It was not my intention. I've been around birds quite a lot, I grew up on a farm.
Look at this: http://dreamwater.net/eod/images/birdy.jpg (just refresh if it doesn't show)
Exactly the same as my sketch.
Your wing has no elbow but on the other hand humans don't have wings either
I hope that I get to see the finished painting around here later.
