I like the mood in the picture

As you said, put in some stars..

And maybe (depends on what style you're going for), add a little texture to the skin of the dragon? (like.. shells or whatever).

Also, since the moon seems to be the only light source, you might want to make the dragon reflect this in a way.. On the pic the moonlight is behind the dragon, but your shading indicates that the light comes from the front of the dragon.. Or maybe it's just me.. Anyways, keep it up and post new updates!

Nice style, quite a unique dragon. I like the face a lot, its got tons of character. I would like to see a scaly texture on the skin, with more lighting effects to match the scene. The red is too overall red, as well, perhaps some other reflected colors in the skin would be good. Even tho you are going for a stylized look I think that a simple surface would improve it a lot. I think the same goes for the rocks as well. Right now they dont look like rocks.

I think im going to go back and do some deeper shadows on the dragon.

As for textures, I am not very good at making them in adobe yet, what do you guys suggest? Is there a tool that can be used for that, or just use the paint tool to simulate it?

Thanks so much for the crits!

When the moon is bright it often lights up the atmosphere a little. The horizon becomes a little lighter than if you look straight up. I think you could improve the mood by making the sky just a little lighter in the lower regions.
Also, if the moon is blue you should use that color in the light on the dragon. You need to think 3d to get the shadows right.
What lights up the dragon from the viewpoint?
