The concept is o.k. - but be wary - if you add lighting to something and then copy,paste, flip horizontal , you'll have identical lighting and texture on both sides of your image - this isn't always a problem, it all depends on whether you are after a more design-oriented piece or not.
[edit] - of course - if i'm wrong and you managed to get it identical on both sides without using that technique - well done
