Seems that a lot has been going down lately. Along with the flood of this "3d newbie user invasion", to lamers, who I will not mention, storming the gallery with crap & snobby remarks. Also people seem to be leaving and not comming back because of it.

So, in light of that, I am sure some people have a prediction of what might happen to this place? Post your random musing style thoughts.

The thing where maxforumers are "invading" sijun was created by zachar2000. The joke got out of hand, despite my best attempts to talk them out of it. I'm sincerely sorry for the oldies on maxfourms. Those who come here and spam are clearly not included in the group with more responsible maxforumers.

They will dissapear one after one when they see they're not welcome.

I sincerely hope that this will not have any long lasting effects on the forum...I've heard that some people might leave but I beg you, please do not. This is a great forum and it's the people who reside where who makes it great. As in all communities you got your occosional shitheads who visit. But you can't just leave because of that. You gotta stand tall, stand above petty fights and see history in the long run instead of seeing catastrophy around the corner...

I've just had a small chat with zachar on mirc aswell, I told him what he did...and I think he got the point...he left with the phrase "ok that' it i' leaving this place" (spelling errors and all)

Thanks for your time

hmm i'm a quite new member here, but i dont think, that there has going down a lot lately. (right grammmar?) i only mentioned one spamming moron lately but i hope/think he has is gone. the '3d newbie invasion' wasnt also that massive. so everyday i visit the gallery i find new great/inspirating art, thats why i hope the forums future is bright. long live sijun forums.

Amen. Iv'e been going here for years and I sincerely don't believe that the Sijun community is weak enough to let a few idiots destroy what we have. This is quite a stress test but I think we will emerge stronger.

How the fuck could you have been going here for years, Ian? It's only been around for a year and a half. March of 2000 is not long enough to constitute using a plural.

Ive been browsing for a long time and it seems to go down a little bit, but I dont think the Sijun forums will ever get recked...

Sijun forums have been around since October of 1999. They are, as A.Buttle astutely put, a year and a half old.

Pluralization is impossible.

And the forum won't go down. It's had it's ups and downs, just like every forum. It's had the 300 post faust|gfx flamewars, that everybody thought would burn the forums as we knew it. There were the famous FFS/Spooge Demon cube lessons that nobody got right. Then there was the famous (which nobody coincedentally) newbie invasion, which everybody thought would for sure destroy our beloved geek club.

*shrug* as long as we have fanboy2000's and their gods, this forum will live.

Bradford: Well, as one of the "3rd invasion" guys, I hope this place doesn't go sour. Not everyone new is a "lamer" however, I'm sure you guys will see I have something to offer the forum.

That said, I think I pissed off a few people in Isric's " I got accepted!" post... although I meant no foul...

...I think I will stick to simple crits and posts for a while.

Newbie is such a broad term on that discussion, I mean where do people start asking questions on this forum? I think some artists think they should only ask questions on finished art, and that don't make sence to me.
