Hi again. I didn't post anything for some month cause i had to work a lot to get a new job.
It's good to paint again but it looks like I should have done some practice doodles (?) first.
Anyway here is the pic I'm currently working on. It's inspired by the robot thread at lumental. I'm not able to get an account (don't know the right english word ) there so I post it only here.
Any crits so far?

Next step will follow tomorrow.

Color looks great, just confused as to what's happening. I cannot tell whether the guy in the back is trying to get the front guys attention, or whether he's pointing to him for someone in the foreground. Don't know if you want to make any major changes, perhaps you can fix this by "focusing" the "eye" of the guy in back on one of the two... Keep bringing the updates, it looks great. |

Thank you for your reply johnwun. You're right i have to concentrate on the action in this one a little more. At first I thought about the yellow robot being a beta version scout robot who senses an enemy nearby but doesn't recognize that it is directly behind him. Maybe I should make these two robots a scout team . I'll think about that a little more.
Here is a little background update. What do you think?

Hi Nils !
happy new year-
great to see new artworks from you.
I really like your colours and the atmosphere, but I always miss the details/textureeffects-and perhaps more contrast...but of course, it is not finished
Hey, what about the meeting?
Hm, I think we should handle this at least 2002
